What issues do you specialize in?
I specialize in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and a wide range of anxiety disorders, including social anxiety, panic disorder, phobias, health anxiety, and generalized anxiety. I also have specialized training in Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) such as hair pulling and skin picking, and in the treatment of Hoarding Disorder.
Do you work with children or teens?
Yes. I work with children, teens, and adults, and I tailor my approach to each developmental stage. For younger clients, parent involvement is often included as part of treatment.
What treatment approaches do you use?
My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which are evidence-based approaches proven effective for OCD and anxiety. I tailor treatment to the individual needs, values, and goals of each client.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions to clients located anywhere in the state of Hawaiʻi. You can receive care from the comfort of your home, no matter which island you live on.
Where is your office located?
401 Kamake’e Street near South Shore Shopping Center.
I offer in-person sessions at this location, in addition to telehealth statewide.
Do you accept insurance?
I am currently an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement, depending on your plan.
How do I get started?
